I loved this straight scraper but lost it awhile ago. Finally found a replacement on eBay.

I got some more cheap tools for the junkyard/loaner kit that I'm throwing together.

Stanley 3 piece plier set, Westward screwdriver set and Westward 1/2" drive socket sets. It's not pictured here, but I also picked up a Pittsburgh 1/2" flex head ratchet.

Nice colors on the pliers and screwdrivers

I'm sorry as they haven't arrived yet, but WTH? Just paid only $278 including shipping from amazon.de for both these attached. Crazy deal for 8 of Gedore's circlip pliers and 17 Stahlwille Open Box 13 wrenches (6-22 mm)...
Couldn't contain myself... Will post pics in about 4 days. And won't be shopping for a while after this.

Or better yet, he could buy dentistry tools and do the repairs himself 😳 after all it’s garage journal 😂
Aww man, wish I was home so I could post my photo of a guy performing dentistry on the side of the street in India. He had a little sandwich board with a toothy smile and everything. One of the craziest things I saw there.

Street barbers and cobblers are quite common in India and that's alright. I wouldn't trust a street dentist tho. Even if they perform the simplest of tasks, there's the matter of how they power their drill, not to mention hygiene.

did you have to make four "trips" to get the free flashlights?

Actually, I made two trips. I didn't realize I'd left all my cash at home until I got up to the cash register. All the computers were whacky around here yesterday, and they couldn't take credit cards. I had to come back home, fish my money out of the cookie jar, and then go back up and pay for the stuff.
The flashlights were 89 cents each. They were not free.
For a buck a pop, I figure that another one might save me the trouble I experienced during a recent adventure, and I tossed one into my buddy's tool box.

Only thing "free" in this world is bad advice.

Total impulse buy from MSC. I already have the 1/4 and 3/8 flex ratchets and I really like them so I wanted to complete the set with this Proto 1/2. For about $80 plus shipping, I figured why not. Plus I totally have an affinity for Italian stuff. I love Italian cars, Italian cuisine, Italian women, and now I’m into Italian-made tools.

Also, while it ***** that MSC charges for shipping, I can’t fault them. I received this in less than 24 hours. Crazy!

Had to run down to Platt Electric to get the widget to hold the wires to the house.
Asked Mike yesterday "You have a pair of needle-nose pliers?" and he handed me a pair of Chinese-made junkers.
I figured the least I could do for the guy was pick him up a decent pair of pliers.
I went through my little "bit holder" the other day and tossed out TWELVE #2 phillips bits. Guys on the counter at Platt said the Weras were the cat's meow this week so we'll try a couple and see how they do.

It isn’t super clean but they pry right off. I used my new pocket Prybar 😂
I must admit, I don’t really like the pocket clips either.

I’m probably not going to keep one of these in my pocket, I just want a tiny prybar. It’ll get stored with small screwdrivers and picks, and the clip just gets in the way.

Burned up a few more blades with that "multi-tool" thing. Called H/F and asked if they had more of the "multi-tool" things in stock.
They had them on a close-out for $14 bucks a pop, so I picked one up for my other buddy too, along with a new blade. Finally remembered to get blades for the utility knife.

:LOL: What's up with MAC drivers?
My Mac driver is a retired dude who has a half empty truck, has a few pneumatic tool, ratchets, socket sets and wrench sets, about 30% of everything else is lisle, Carries mostly Dewalt electric stuff because he can’t sell the Mac branded stuff to anyone because no one will pay the extra markup for red when they can buy the same yellow for cheaper,

New 250 ft/lb torque wrench.

KIMG0114.JPG

I just bought the Tekton version of that torque wrench for home use, which is expected to be delivered tomorrow. It appears to be exactly the same, but with a silver finish. I thought $65 was a pretty good price a 250 ft/lb torque wrench, but it looks like the Lexivon version is a good bit cheaper than that.
