Got my first digital tire pressure gauge, a Longacre "semi-pro" 0-60psi gauge. It has a backlit display and an accuracy of +/- 0.3psi. The Longacre digital gauges range in price (MSRP) from $60 to $707, and this model is one step above the cheapest one. I paid $83 +tax for it from Speedway Motors (via Amazon). Longacre sells it directly for $123, Summit Racing sells it for $105.

what about the Channel Lock Nutbusters? I think there are 2 sizes of those.
I have a small pair Wilde, thinking about the Channellock next.
Used them both on some very large rusty square nuts. Both worked pretty good. I know an adjustable wrench could've worked okay. Trying out different options for different scenarios that might pop-up

Good week for me, magnetic glove holder, 1/4 impact socket set (Parkside is a brand from Lidl supermarkets), Facom 27mm special wrench for diesel filters from Psa, Ford, Volvo... and some gloves ( sometimes I like not to stain my hands).

Bought one to try out, will probably get more for garage cabinets.

Tool kit to keep in the wife’s truck. Will probably add more over time and inspiration. Not spending big money on tools to rust away in her truck unused. Already have jump starter, cables, rope, blankets and medic/blow out kit.

How do you like the silicone tool tray versus the classic magnetic ones?

I have 8 silicone trays... LOVE THEM. They are somewhat slip resistant ... until they are oil saturated.

I also still have smaller magnetic silicone trays that expand that I use for fasteners.

Great to know, thanks!

I was looking at this set. Seems good for the price.

Figured i’d post these here instead of the Hot Deals section to give some others a chance besides the vultures lurking there.
This set is currently $4.12 ship/sold by Amazon.

The tips seem machined well and quality seems on par with the usual Taiwan reputation.
If anyone needs measurements, I double checked and the actual OAL is 6”.
With a 2002 copyright im getting an old stock vibe.

The same set on the company website:

Forgive the mess (new garage definitely a work in progress), but my M18 Track Saw arrived a few weeks back. First track saw for me so there's a slight learning curve for setting the guide friction etc, but the thing seems awesome so far.

If anyone wants photos or more details feel free to send me a message (I'll probably miss replies on this megathread).

Cheers!

It appears 02 sensors are in my future :cautious:, and these looked like a great combination of quality and value:

I also definitely have several more valve cover gaskets (V6 Ody, I4 Mini & I6 old BMW) in my near-term future. Recently while doing the spark plugs on my wife's Ody and the valve cover gasket on my mom's old Camry, my little Tekton torque wrench was handy, but running at the top of its range for the plugs, which is also at the bottom of the range for my other torque wrenches (which are also too big to be over the back of a V6 in the bay anyway). I know these kinds of things don't have to be perfect - more of a 'tight enough but not too tight" kind of thing - but I want to work as close as I can, especially when it comes to torquing things into aluminum. It's also a reason to get a new tool ;)

Hence the new and probably-final member of Team Torque in my garage, along with his little brother:

Thanks for the heads up! I ordered both the 4” and the 6” just to be safe😉👍. At this price I couldn’t go wrong

I finally picked up a DCF923. I have wanted one for a while. It came with a promotion 4ah battery. Wasn't the greatest deal, but it was good enough for me. I also got a few Armstrong pieces from Cripe, not that I needed any more extensions.

More HF tools and Makita sockets for vehicle and atv tool kits. The opened Makita kit was a pawn shop score. Also have some ratchets, extensions and socket adapters on the way to add to the kit. Not paying Knipex or snap on prices for tossing in the vehicles.
