Shrink wrap removal tool?

I need to unwrap dozens of anodized aluminum sticks. Each is wrapped individually in what I'd call clear, thin shrink wrap.

The anodization scratches easily so a metal tool is less than ideal. Likewise the blade can't drag along the work.

Does anything exist for this? A web search turned up nothing. I'm envisioning a thin plastic scraper with a razor blade set back ~1.5" from the leading edge.

Surgical shears are too tall to fit under the tight wrap and keep feeding under it.

Anyone? Yes, I may make something but inquiring about existing options here.

Can you hold the stick in the center vertically and hit the end on a padded surface? Your hand sliding down may tear the wrap.

Thank you all! I have one of the letter openers sitting here in the house, that may do it. Otherwise all the links are helpful.

And yeah, I guess stretch wrap is more accurate than shrink wrap.
