Shutter fan in man door - looking for advice

I really need to cool down my attached two car garage. We are in Central Florida. The rollup door faces north.
I had pretty much settled on a J&D Manufacturing Shutter fan (special thanks to forum member marctrees for prior comments about these, and where to buy them, etc.).
So the walls of the garage are stucco, and while I can figure out the install, it might be a lot less work to install the fan in my insulated steel man door. The fan itself weighs 33 pounds. It protrudes 10.5 inches from the mounting surface.
What suggestions and obstacles do you see?

Is your garage insulated ? For that fan to pull air out of the garage, it's going to need a source of air to bring in, which is probably more humid and hotter outside air.

garage is insulated. Rollup door is well insulated. I have maybe 4400 cubic feet of air volume. Would crack the rollup door on some days to pull in air.
Same issue would apply whether fan was in stucco wall or the door, though.

I used to spray my woodworking finishes in the corner of my garage by the man door. I ended up buying 3 cheapo/ordinary box fans and made a door using 1/4" hardboard for the skins and ripped some studs down for the frame. Worked quite well as an exhaust fan. It wasn't hinged in place, it had handles on it it to move around and I would just sit it in place. It still comes in quite handy at times

Most days I have the roll up door open when I am working in my shop. A few days a year I turn on the heater and keep the door closed. Spray painting waits for fair weather.

I would be concerned w/ exactly how that man door is constructed internally. You might cut into it and then find it is real difficult to figure a way to trim the hole

Git's idea is neat, but I'd be concerned about potential issues when spraying anything with solvents in it, although today most finishes don't have much in the way of VOC's
