side lift single post hoist

Has anyone seen this hoist? I have very little room for a two post and was wondering if anyone has seen one or knows about them.

I like the portable part but I wonder about how much sag to one side there would be.
Real opinions please, if all you got to say is its a hunk of junk with nothing to back it up, dont waste mine and your time, thanks

It looks like you have to slide it under the car like a pallet jack. Can you drive over the legs? Is this what you want? I've seen other single post parking lifts but they are triple the price. Like this: http://www.bendpak.com/bendpak-products/parking-lifts/PL-6SP.aspx

I never have seen that one before, thanks. I do not want one for parking though. I just dont have room for two posts to be permanently mounted in the middle of my garage.

I,ve seen that but it only lifts to 48" I think.

Yes it has a max lift of only 48" and #6000.

I've spent the last 30 years working under cars standing up and its hard to teach and old dog new tricks. Besides I'm just to lazy to work from a creeper.

I've seen one like that in a garage near here - talked to the owner, and he's very pleased with it. He has to move it to one side every evening to get vehicles in from the yard, before locking up. Wasn't cheap, though, at around USD7500 iirc.
