Siding with T1-11

Anybody know the current code for nailing 5/8 T1-11 as sheathing/siding in one? OK to put house wrap underneath it against the studs first? Other advice? It's a two story garage build....

Code is local but yes normally you would put a housewrap over framing and under sheeting with T1-11. Here we are supposed to nail 6" on the perimeter and 12" in the field.
