Siegler oil stove.

Picked up this oil stove for garage and looks like there is some sort of thermostat housing on the back. Can't find any info on how it would work, Does it need a thermostat on the wall, does it work off the heat generated from the stove? Works great other than I have the fan directly plugged in the wall to run allthe time. I have tried thermostat from my attick fan but doesn't work well.Thanks for any help.

Ayuh,..... Yer stove is a kerosene pot burner style,..... There ain't a t-stat, but an oil flow regulator,.....
Pretty popular in the '50s, 'n '60s, but not so much any more,....

Gosh, haven't heard that name in a while. When I was a kid, that's the brand that was used to heat our house.
