It kinda matters whether you're putting it on your lawnmower or fuel-injected racecar...
Don't cheap out on this. I had one of those glass-body filters you can buy at any autoparts stores & the diecast threads stripped and the end blew off while I was driving. I turned white as a sheet when I popped the hood to see why my fuel gauge was visibly dropping.
ETA: This was about 1982. I'm sure these filters are better made now that they come from China.

I actually picked one up from cat today. It's not gonna be set inline perm intel it's for diagnostic purposes mainly checking of fuel systems are picking up air.
I like the ones mshell56118 posted those are nice. I got one like the one pictured above from cat in industry. Only ran me 45 dollars so no big deal.
