Greetings. I just added a signature, and it is not displaying. I saw a thread about someone's "pre-approved" signature... etc.

Does my signature need approval prior to display? (This would explain the lack of a signature, despite having added one.)

Sorry for the noob question. I did read the FAQ, and it seemed to be a generic board-created FAQ, not a FAQ specific to Garage Journal.

Thanks, and cheers!

Your signature is showing

Not for me, I disable sigs in 'thread display options' on every forum I go to. No need for more text in a wall of text or constantly seeing what someone thinks is witty.

Just curious how may people actually leave seeing sigs enabled?

I consider signatures added entertainment, and, for me, they help to add personality to users. I have only disabled them on one forum I visit, because there is no limit to picture size there, and this results in ridiculously huge signature blocks for some users. I do see your point, however.

I'm also attempting to add this to my signature. I tried entering the URL in the "add a picture to your signature" section with no luck (It shows "Invalid file), and I tried adding this code with the wrap:
http://banners.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/banner/ban/wxBanner?bannertype=pws250_both&weatherstationcount=KPAEASTB11
Is this possible? The full code is actually this, but the 1st code works in the body of a post.
<a href="https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KPAEASTB11"><img src="http://banners.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/banner/ban/wxBanner?bannertype=pws250&weatherstationcount=KPAEASTB11" width="250" height="150" border="0" alt="Weather Underground PWS KPAEASTB11" /></a>
And, here is the working image:

[IMG]http://banners.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/banner/ban/wxBanner?bannertype=pws250_both&weatherstationcount=KPAEASTB11

Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!
