I am needing advise I have a significant amount of water that is running under and around the edges of my garage doors.

Doors are less than a year old. I have a post frame building that is built on top of a slab my concrete contractor was less than competent but what is done is done and I want to fix my issue.

Is there any kind of seal that I can install on the concrete to fix this? or any way I could cut a channel and grind down 1" or so so my doors can sit in yes I know that should have been done when concrete was installed. I am just looking for any help to fix my problems.

You could install an aluminum or PVC threshold under your door. They can be a bit pricey but it might work better than door seals and be less work than concrete mods.

Silicone will not seal to a wet surface, so put some Vaseline on your door and then put a couple beads of Silicone down to redirect the water. After it cures then clean the Vaseline off. I made a seal for an old truck that I had, that they didn't make a replacement seal for.

How about some pictures ? Why is the water getting there to begin with ? Is it getting blown against the door ? Does the concrete on the outside of the door slope away a little so the water will drain away from the doors ?

I dont think any garage door seal will work to keep a bunch of water out if it is draining against the door.

What is significant? The way you describe it has me asking why all that water is there to begin with. Sounds like a drainage issue.

The doors are 12x12 and 16x8 both face the east, concrete has maybe 12” of slope but only is sloped up to the door. Gravel drive to the garage doors sits about 2” lower than the cement of the garage and drains away

I am to the point where if I spend a few hundred to fix the problem thats ok. I dont want to spend a few thousand to have that section cut out and replaced

its a U shape seal that slides into the bottom panel

Can you see the U shaped seal from the outside when the door is closed? Sometimes it will roll to the outside, if its extends out beyond the face of the door panel, any water that runs down the door hits the lip caused by the seal and runs to the end of the door panel, past the weather stripping on the door jamb.

If you curl the seal to the inside when the door is closed, it will eventually take the new shape, or you can replace it with a new seal.

Have you considered a trench drain? I have a similar issue and will be installing one shortly. I ordered it from homedepot, on sale it was $79 for three one meter sections. Don't remember the name but you can also buy direct from manufacturer for $89, search home depot for the brand.
