My late father in law ended up with a number of the large old metal gas signs from somewhere (he was a real cowboy and saved EVERYTHING). I think they are intact although some meay have had patch panels cut out of them. I scavanged a couple old battery signs that were being used as shelving (`4ft by 16") from a buddy that was tearing down his shed.

i guess my question is: what kind of value might these have and what's teh best way to move them? I'd prefer to keep them but clearly I'll never have a shop in which to take advantage of them and neither of the other sons in law can spell car so I could probably bring them home if I asked. If i do, would they work ok on a ceiling as a decoration or would that just close up the space evenworse then it is already?

Suggestions appreciated!

TIA

Send me the pictures also. I have sold some petroliana over the years and know many of the key players in that market.
