I used heaps of Sika epoxy on industrial floors in the 90's and it was recognised as an excellent company with excellent products. They are based in Switzerland with manufacturing across the globe and I have never found a bad product in their range.

That does not mean they are better than local manufacturers, just a reliable, highly researched product range that sells to auto manufacturers and other industrial and construction companies.

Trouble is when you have massive research labs, marketing and distribution, you can make a product that does the job, but sells at the highest possible price for its level of performance.

Another problem is that they make so many different epoxies for different uses that it is hard to know which one to use. A local manufacturer will give you more personal advice.

The TDS states that it's 43% solids by volume with up to 400 sf of coverage depending on the substrate. That most likely will work out to around 3.5 mils dry film thickness depending on how far you attempt to spread it out. Unless you are on a budget, you can get a better value for your dollar by using one of the 100% solids products that are available from a different company.

Yes, I know about sikafloor 2530w. This product mostly useful in basement, garage and laundry flooring because it is water based and heavy duty epoxy coating for Interior concrete. This type of product resistance more chemical, so can not use this in house. And more best think is solvent free and odourless.
