Tried to search for an answer but couldn't find my particular situation. So the crew that did the block foundation put j bolts in the block. A different crew is there framing now and I noticed they cut those bolts flush and used a wedge anchor (redhead) . The reason was because the guys that did the block put them too far in. The question is, is this acceptable? It will be getting inspected but I can't seem to find any information about it besides reading that they shouldn't be used in block, but I assume that means unfilled block. Walls are just about up and trusses should be the next day or two so I'm a little nervous

They don't get their check until their framing passes inspection. There is more than one way to attach a Sill Plate, but if their way does not pass; the get paid when they fix it so that it passes.

Let the Inspector be the "Bad Guy".

Ok, I guess I just learned the difference, it appears they did use sleeve anchors according to pictures I looked up. There was no large visible threaded portion like the wedge anchors. Thanks!
