It's a good thing that box has wheels on it. How else could you clean the window that it's blocking?I looked through the pics of the contents, there's a lot of wasted space in there. He could fit all that stuff in one rollcab with a top box an single side locker. Look at spidergearsman's toolbox, i bet he has more stuff in his box and it's half the size of that one.
good lord its MR. BIG i didnt know anyone actually owned one i though it was just a myth. I dont know what profession that guy is in but i think i wanna get started in it too!
thats why i'm not a fan of workstations, too hard to move. The only thing that really blows about having a wall of tool chests is if you switch jobs and have to move it.![]()

I don't really have much choice. I don't have the floor space for a big enough rollcab. My top box is pretty high; I can see into the top drawer, but just barely, and I'm 6'2". I can only open the top lid a few inches, or it hits the hanging ceiling light (new garage in the works will have 12' ceilings though.) But.....the real problem is potential injury. Every time I open one of the top drawers I have to remind myself not to leave it open for even a minute. The sharp corners at head level could cause some serious pain if I walked into it by mistake.

These are the same boxes I have, without the side cabinet, and I only keep a few things under the lid, those which I can identify by feel, or see when I stand on tip toe, and I am 5'11". I used to have a set of Snap on KR boxes, with a middle set of drawers, that when I pulled out the top drawer, I could walk under it, without touching my head.

i saw a guys double bank snapon cab fall onto it's face one day in the shop, he had a bad habit of leaving drawers open all the time![]()

I almost did that to a friend's box once, was looking for something in a rush, didn't push the drawers closed and it came forwards towards me. I just shoved them closed as quick as i could or it would'a squished me.

Not mine, from another forum.....
you could, just like dad had all the tools for the farm in a 26" sears combo. The problem is, every friggin drawer was filled to the top, and you had to dig out each drawer to find what you wanted each time.
