I can buy this set used for $50. Very light use and it would be something to throw in the truck. Is Silver Eagle decent?

My brother has a set of bit sockets and impact sockets; they have held up well (he breaks the bit sockets but they are used on a impact; our driver replaces them no problem), they look very close to SUNEX or GRAY PNEUMATIC, offshore asian tools. I cannot speak for the other tools in your set; the sockets seem decent however (impact).

I bought the big set about 4 years ago, for the last 1.5yrs I wrench daily for a living, so far I have trashed the ratchets and upgraded to SO's, havent had a single issue with the wrenches until last week when my 13mm became ever so slightly strecthed on the open end and would spin on almost every tie rod it touched, my Matco guy wouldnt warranty it unless it was broken in half, so I JSUT bought some SO FD+ wrenches, and Ive only ever had to warranty 2 sockets because of chrome flaking, all of my sockets are used just about daily on my SO CT8810 3/8s impact with zero breakage.

So Id just on it just for the sockets and wrenches alone.
