Matco dealer has the 100pc Silver Eagle Complete 6pt metric/sae 1/4 and 3/8 W/ wrenches on sale for $300 + $21 to the state of illinois pension plan. I dont need any ratchets or extensions but I want to replace all my cm chrome socket and the standard raise panel cm wrenches. But I also need a set of 3/8 impacts.

Option one buy the Silver eagle set and later on get some impacts.

Option two buy the duo set for 160 then dont need to buy any chrome sockets and have an extra 160 to buy some sk line wrenches and some other tools.

Yes i know FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS.

Which wrenches would you want to have 5 years from now? Sockets are pretty standard across the mid grade level board, they're all pretty good worker bees.

I'm a fan of classic Proto-ish style wrenches and wouldn't want to be with something different anymore. What is your most desired wrench?, answer that to answer your question.
