If you don't want to hear my life story, there's some pictures below.
Well this isn't my garage, i just pack my stuff in it and say close enough. It is actually my parents garage that i have been trying to do basic fixups here and there in. My hobbies have grown and i have just flat out run out of space! But anyway, for now this is "MY GARAGE"! Being young and never really having much for a job i have always been short on money so like back " in the ol' days" i made it work.
my additions include the following:
a vise worth a f***
air compressor
reelcraft 50' hose reel
stereo with 4 wall mounted speakers
power tools
hand tools
work bench space
also, i am currently in college right now and will be graduating in may. My sights are set pretty high for what i want to build( 10k sq ft garage space/shop area with house built to it, overlooking the shop, ideally built into a hillside). I don't have many student loans, but out of school i plan to pay those off, buy a high MPG daily driver, work my *** off, and start to find a place to live!
BUT ANYWAY down to why i really wanted to post here, to show off some of the small, but if it wasn't for these items you wouldn't do more than park stuff in this garage.
NOTE: captions below pictures, also some pictures MAY be cellphone quality.
to give you an idea what i have to work with..
one of the 3 biggest problems in this garage was work bench space. So one day while i was bored i went dumpster diving for some lumber and built this work bench.
Quads have some room to move now! and adding just one light brightened up this place ALOT! i added another 90* from that one and i have an excellent light source on that side of the shop now.
unfortunately, good things don't last long and i started tearing stuff apart again.
this was a few years earlier and this is starting to catch up with us now. the breaker started popping randomly from the garage.. THEN after resetting it one time smoke started pouring up from the ground
if you were wondering why smoke was pouring out, well the lightning found its way down the tree and into the buried electrical and burned the casing, not really sure why we are having problems 4 years later but it is now shorting out.
reelcraft is hung
you can still get a vehicle in there at times!
garbage picked stereo, worked 100% even got another one as a spare last year
yet another picture of my messy "work area"
