Simple & Cheap Parts Washer Filter

I came up with this idea a few years ago but I've never taken any photos of it.
It's pretty basic; a cake pan I swiped from the wife, four spring (also stolen from the wifes office), a couple of strips of sheetmetal from the scrap shelf, some hardware cloth, a few fasteners, and the only thing purchased, some filter material from McMaster. I don't remember what it's made of but I know it's unaffected by the mineral spirits that I use in the machine.

Maybe you could steal another cake pan and cut the bottom out of that one. Then since they are made to fit together, sandwich the grid and the filter material between the 2. That would eliminate the clips, and make it sturdier.
