Okay, I don't usually get excited over cleaners (well, never really) but I've been super impressed with this stuff.
I've been using it for quite a few years at full strength on grease laden equipment and parts, but this last weekend was the topper. I was doing a valve job on a Champion R15B compressor pump and the valves were really crusty (picture baked on charcoal) so I thought...WTH, I'll try soaking them in a pan of Simple Green Pro HD...damn, the **** started melting off immediately! Having soaked and scrubbed this cooked on **** in solvent during past valve jobs, I really didn't expect much...but damn, I was wrong!
The next morning I rinsed the valves in water and was shocked to see them become COMPLETELY clean!!!!
What is shocking is this stuff is non-toxic, non-corrosive and bio-degradable! It works so good that I expect that California will ban its sale soon...that's what they like to do.
If you haven't tried this stuff, do yourself a favor and do...you can thank me later...

Try that purple or green in a heated ultrasonic cleaner. 10% with water.
You wouldn't believe how bad these carburetors were.

Are there warnings on that purple stuff to certain metals like aluminum.

I had that old Castrol purple some time ago cripes there was always listed some materials not to use with it, though that stuff did clean solidified baked on crud pretty good

The only warning states " DO NOT USE ON: leather, suede,unfinished wood,plastic instrument panels, opals or pearls."

I use the Simple Green regular stuff for general all-purpose cleaning. It's cheap and lasts like 3 years when you're diluting it in spray bottles. I will have to try out their other cleaners.

Fluids aren't very exciting, but they make life easier if you pick the right products.

Also useful for cleaning carbide saw blades.... Not supposed to use the green stuff due to leaching the braze material but purple doesn't have that problem.

Can anyone compare the degreasing efficiency of this (Simple Green Pro HD) to Crystal Simple Green Industrial Cleaner and Degreaser https://simplegreen.com/industrial/products/crystal-industrial-cleaner-degreaser/

Hmmm - have to try some of that. I am testing "Mean Green" from Dollar General. May well be the same or similar for less $. Also, because they didn't have any Simple Green.
