Simple Question on Insulating Attic Toy Room

This may or may not be a simple answer though.

There is currently a small unconditioned attic space used to store toys off my daughter's bedroom. It needs to transform in to an unconditioned fort.

Entry is through an insulated half door. The space measures approximately 15x9 feet. My daughter wants to make this something of a fort. I'm all for it but would like to make it more comfortable for her. Three walls were finished with drywall and abut the interior conditioned spaces (bedrooms). The third wall is the cathedral raftered roof, no insulation but radiant barrier in place on edge of rafters. Floor is ply or OSB.

I have no interest in adding HVAC. I want to make it better for brief play and storage of items not temp critical (toys that will be donated soon enough).

My plan is to insulate and sheet rock the one wall/vaulted ceiling to be able to paint and consider it a fort or playroom, to be used when not too hot, not too cold. I also anticipate this 11 year old's desire will evaporate in a couple of years, so no huge expenditure of effort or cash. Thanks.

Now the question. What is the best way to insulate this unconditioned space? Where does vapor barrier face? Or is VB even suggested? This will not be airtight.

I have watched videos and used search but as expected, the info available is not quite specific to this idea. So any info the GJ experts might post will be greatly appreciated.

I also plan to make stub wall about 32 inches for an upright wall with sheetrock where rafters are.
