please keep it simple. 2 car garage with 9 foot ceiling. I have four 25 year old 2bulb 4ft fixtures to remove and replace with LED fixtures. the lights are hard wired(2 switches). I do not desire to spend more than $50/fixture. Lowe's or menard's is fine with me.

Lowest cost option = Remove bulbs and ballast from existing fixtures. Rewire power direct to unshunted lamp holders on one end and install these. See post 1 of best light fixture sticky for discount code. Total Cost = $7.19 x 8 = $57.52

Total Lumens = 21,120
Total Watts = 176

Or further improve your lighting and almost within your $200 budget:
Qty.4 of this 8ft 4-lamp tandem housing = $23.75 x 4 = $95
+ 16 lamps from above post = $115.04
Grand Total = $210.04

Total Lumens = 42,240
Total Watts = 352

I don't see a question in the OP. What are you asking for?

I think he's asking for results that google search could probably offer. some guys just are not competent enough to type, "LED LIGHT FIXTURES" into the google search box and then click on the shopping tab after they hit enter....

I'm competent enough to ask for the opinions of people on this forum who have either put led's in their garage or replaced what they had in their garage, interpret what advice is given and then proceed. If I had wanted to google something, I would have done it. You are dismissed(with prejudice)

If you are already a CostCo member, I'm personally happy with the results on the Feit "tube-style" fixture. I think they are $55/pair delivered by UPS.

No reason make fun. A google search with those words is going to show a lot of products, many of them will be complete junk.

Not everybody knows what to look for when searching for decent lights...

Not of the led fixtures I have experience are less then $50. Several companies make drop in led tubes, keystone and philips are the only brands I've used. I have mixed feelings about them, they are very nice in recessed troffers and similar lights but I haven't been overly happy with them in some other open fixture applications. Some are becoming available with wider beam angle's though. That said many other people are happy with them.
