simplex 41s and stand

I saw this on Craigslist today and the owner sent me pics. He hasn't gotten many calls but then it is listed as an old 'vice'.

I'm familiar with the Simplex 41s. This one looks pretty clean. I really like the stand. He's asking $100 and I'm thinking of offering $80.

Opinions? How do you guys like the stand?

if it works good, no breaks, weld repairs, etc then I'd say that ain't bad...

I think I would trip over the legs of that stand maybe? Still I always take a stand if i can get it

I almost thought this was my vice and stand. I got this one in some trade deal 6-7 years ago just the vice and the plate with stubs for the legs then I welded the legs on it. Been a great vice super smooth and solid but I'm posting it for sale today which is how I came across this old post searching 41s trying to figure out an asking price and figured I'd post a couple pics since they are pretty similar setups. Located in WA state if anyone is interested.
