Don: never too old to learn so tell me (us) how you have your pictures saved. on a cell phone or are they already saved to your laptop?

I used to use an online service, but the pictures used to come up too big and made threads hard to read and now some online services don't work well with GJ's server. can you see the paperclip just above where you are writing your posts? click on that and you can pick and download up to 7 pictures per post and if you have more than 7 pictures make additional posts.

give it a try and let us know or if you have more questions just ask. ok?

sometimes they come out sideways when you post from a cell phone so i email pictures to myself, save to my laptop and then post mine. yes i'm OLD TOO.

Don: you are getting there so keep at it and you'll be a pro teaching your kids how to do it soon. your screw looks like it has some damage, but it sounds like your vise nut is the issue you are asking about. yes?

when you do figure out the pictures maybe posting up all of them with your questions over on the Vise Repair 101 thread might help you and then others later looking for an answer.

keep at it and i'm sure somebody will have an idea for a fix as soon as you show all the issues.
