Simpson Multimeter typ 260

Hi.
Repairing an old classic VOM, Simpson 260 serial no 1891.
The Simpson 260 was made over many years . I think the one I have is a Simpson 260 _II
Found schematics , it is back in service and resonably accurate.

Does anybody know how old it may be?. I think mid 1950´s.

Pictures may help to date it.
