Simpson Strong-tie suffix

I’m trying to buy 30 Simpson titen anchors. 5/8x6”, 304 stainless.

The fastenersplus website is making me go through Shopify. It will not let me register with my email. I was annoyed enough to look on eBay and found a better deal.

The photo of the eBay box has the same item number but it ends with “F1”. I can’t figure out what that means.

THDB62600H4SSF1

Knowing getting stuff off eBay can be disappointing, I wanted to try to pin this down.

Does anybody know or care to guess?

I don’t see any F1 designation on the spec sheet (below). And I‘ve been up and down the catalog pages and come up empty.

Fasteners Plus lists them both ways.

I would have guessed F1 designated a single fastener. But it is on the box of 10.

More curious than anything else at this point.

I doubt it's a goof and bet it's a box of anchors intended to be sold individually at retail

5/8” into a 5/8” hole. They all have a little copper paste on the end.

It’s either from the manufacture or a poor job at lubrication. Maybe hardened threads welded to stainless body and that’s flux? Over my pay grade.

I went ahead and ordered all 30 from fastener plus. They have consistently been the cheapest. Order qualified for free shipping.

Got a discount code and the mobile site worked better than the desktop. Though they really try to push you onto the Shopify platform.

And this is an issue why? Many shopping websites use Shopify to handle the processing side of the transaction. I've never had an issue or heard of others having any problems either.

Correct. But if they are hardened threads on stainless bolts may have some process I’m not aware of.

Very unusual way of making a cutting thread, but from the spec sheet:

"In order for these threads to be durable enough to cut into the concrete, they are formed from carbon steel that is then hardened and brazed onto the tip of the anchor."
