Single Car clean up

Hello all,
Here is my 12 x 20 single car attached garage that has our washer/dryer, water heater and "house stuff overflow" cabinet. My wife and I purchased this house about a year ago. We wanted to do some things to the inside and out before i could get started on my own projects. It has been a busy year like most and it was time to clean and organize the garage. While we only have a single car garage we do have 2, 12 x 10 sheds in the back and a gated area that i can keep my automotive projects so no one can see my "junk". Here is what i started with and ended with after 2 days of work.

Travis looks like your making good use of a small space. Looks like a good size space for Bike building at least ( Better get some welding blankets to cover her washer and dryer with though ) .

Thank you, I plan on making a curtain on a track that i can move in front of the washer/dryer and cabinet.

I may be making a false assumption based on the wheel vise, but how do you get full bikes on and off your work table?

I use my motorcyle ramp to roll them on and off. It's only a little bit of a issue on bikes that are low.

You really meant business in those two days! What kind of ceiling is in it? Hard to tell but looks like there's some potential for a bit of storage up there.

I will get some pictures up tonight of the table. The frame is 2 x 2 x .120 , the top is 3' x 3' and 3/8" or 1/2" thick if i remember correctly. I have 5/16 holes drilled and tapped on 4" centers to bolt some tooling and jigs to it. All four corners have a hook to hang my mig gun because i hate laying it on the table while working. I also have places for clamps and magnets underneath within arms reach. I have only used it a few times at home but i built a large version of it for work a few years ago and it works out great.

You really meant business in those two days! What kind of ceiling is in it? Hard to tell but looks like there's some potential for a bit of storage up there.

Ya, We finally finished working on a bunch of stuff inside and I wanted to be as productive as possible on a weekend that we had no plans. There is some potential overhead but I'm not really worried about it at this point because we have two 10' x 12' shed's in the back one has overflow house stuff and the other has tools and spare car parts for other projects.

are you anyway? If you are still living at home with your parents than
they can expect you helping out with ALL the household chores with-

Travis, your space is coming along nicely! I like the brooms hanging on the back of the door (way to maximize storage space). As a suggestion, you should probably replace that yellow extension cord on the floor with a longer one that you can route around the man-door and the bottom of the wall. That looks like a tripping hazard the way it is now. Another option may be to add an outlet on that side wall if there is already an outlet on the inside of that wall.

The cord is very temporary, I only have it out when i am working in the garage. I installed a new panel in the house a few months ago. We went from 60 amps to 200. I have not done any permenant wiring in the garage but I put two 1" flex in the attic that are going to be used for outlets, welder and the air compressor. Right now there is only power in the garage for the lights and washer/dryer. I hope to do that next weekend.

awesome garage. Is your motorcycle table sturdy enough to handle fully assembled bikes? i got (2) 1100 and (2) 550. and would like a table like yours. thank you,
