If you have pics of your single car garage, please post away. I have a single car garage that can't fit a car, basically packed with junk, my work bench, which ends up packed with junk. I will be building an outside storage shed to move all the the things that need to be stored away for seasonal use. The dimensions of my garage = 29x10

Any who, please post away.

Thanks!!

Man, that's a long garage, mine's only like 14x9 or something.

Its painful to work on the car in there...literally! Up until a six mos ago I had a 2.5 car garage

I have some more pics at home I'll post later.

Thanks for the pics and please keep posting. My garage will not house a vehicle as I have a large built jeep, but will be more of a workshop.

Thanks again!

Here's another pic. Just about everything in there is car or welding related. All the boxes you see on the shelves are full of car parts, nuts and bolts, rivets etc. Its very tough to organize everything and I'm constantly struggling in there as I'm buying more ****.

Erok01, very nice garage. What's the size of that garage ?

My garage is roughly 10x24.
Plenty of room for the car and the work area in the back. It also has hvac hot and cold!!

Hey Erok that is a nice garage and with hvac, very nice! A bit of a kink with my garage is that in the rear of the garage I have one door leading into the house and on the opposite a door that leads to the side yard. Then again, I have my large beer frisge near one of the door and may put a or make a kegerator in the back area anyway, so I guess it's not wasted space.

Here's sort of a pic of my 8' x 25' x 12' integral garage, just enough space to store the rod, the rest is filled with benches (stacked with junk) & shelving (stacked with parts & lug nuts).:bounce:

Here's the same place a few years ago, the racks have mostly gone or been moved back to make room for the car. In the back you can see the wall dividing the garage from the kitchen, making the sink with hot & cold running water a snap!

The wood beams in the roof are for the mezzanine floor, in two sections front & rear, so that it can be accessed easily by a fixed loft ladder. there's about a 4' head height up there, just enough to crawl around between the racking up there!:)

Benches that fold down from the wall can help a lot -- one side benefit is that you have to clear them off before you fold them up. (Otherwise, mine would end up with permanent piles of stuff on them.)

And don't worry, it does get messy:

I remember thinking the fold up bench a good idea. Also, I think a lot of space can be gained from storage "lofts" hung from the roof (if possible) and higher up on the walls. I'll post some photos if interested.
