Single Post Lift - Concrete Requirement

I am looking at putting in a single post lift in my garage to store a car. The weight of the car is just under 3000lbs. I can confirm that buiiding code states that my garage is a minimum of 4" for the concrete. I don't assume that it is greater than that.

My question is that this lift is rated for 6000lbs. and states "The lift should be installed on a 3000 PSI concrete with little gradients. Thickness of concrete: ≥ 6 inch (150 mm)."

With the load being half of that, would it be reckless to have the lift installed without doing additional concrete work to the garage floor?
Who should I call to find out for certain how think the floor is?

Thanks in advance. I am new here and have the education of a 5 year old. So any help is very much appreciated.

Drill small holes to find the actual thickness, where you intend to place the posts.
You just might find it is the 6in. Might find it's Not even 4in.

I'll also ask what is the current condition and age of the floor?
I have seen 5yr old floors cracking and crumbling. Floor in my shop is 25yrs old and each 25x25ft pad has zero cracks.

I will never admit it's under 6in thick, but I have not had any issues with my 2 post and cars on it almost daily for the past 5 years. Fasteners have been checked and never loosened.
