Hello, finally getting ready to add on an additional garage to my existing. This will be used to store a car with the hopes of squeezing in a microcar and/or add a storage lift. The addition will be 16’ wide by 21’ deep, 14’ high. The problem is where to put the man door and a window. The right side cannot be used because of an existing brick garage. I can enter the garage in the back or front so the door can be at either end, even on the left side?
What I am thinking is the rear wall will have wall mounted cabinets only so I can pull the car as far in as I would like or... put the small car horizontal in front of the other. I did this before in the other garage. The man door will take up 3’ of wall plus the swing area. Looking for ideas and experience. What would you do? See att.
