Sink head thread sizes

I thought this would come right up in google but apparently its more complicated than that.

Descriptions on HD dont even list thread sizes...wtf. Of-course neither does Glacier bay.

Whats worse is most heads are actually male threads. Anyhow i am guessing its either 55/64 but at this point i dont want to make an assumption

The above is a tester for threads that shows the common sizes. Maybe the local plumbing places has one you can use? Is your guess at 55/64 maybe a 15/16?

All this is assuming your screwing this into a faucet where the aerator goes.

Thanks, i am think of rolling the dice on 55/64. Seems to be the common size on amazon

I don't believe there's a standard for that. Are you looking to do something other than just replace the spray head?

Sorry... I was finger tied... also upset... I have a large collection of "thread checkers"... and now a new one has been posted... a faucet one... was expensive but I have a huge gift card I need to chip away at.

55/64- 27 is common aerator size. I just installed ( a month ago) a faucet from IKEA, the spray head was definitely not standard threads to me.
