Sink Project

Started working on my tool chest sink project this weekend. There is a lot of work left to complete but this is a great start.

I have that same cabinet but have never thought about installing a sink.
What is the purpose of the sink -- parts washing? Is the white 'container' on the side a holding tank? Details........lol

The sink is in the garage restroom. I have another sink in the garage for the messy cleaning from there.

The "container" on the side is actually a roll of paper towels. I am working on a better solution for this object.

Looks really good. How many drawers ended up being non-functional?

I like that a lot. I am on the second utility sink in my 2006 garage as the first one disintegrated within about 12 years, I assume just due to exposure to air and some reflected UV. The plastic got brittle, began to crack all over and eventually shattered.

The steel sink should last forever.

And it looks great!

Top three drawers are non-functional. The bottom drawer has a small notch in the back (maybe 4" X 2")

Wow! I have a similar tool cart and I'm trying to turn it into a workbench. Never even thought about a sink, very clever.
