I just bought one of these for $140 after several offers. The Seller messaged me and told me he'd take $140 with free shipping. I cannot guarantee he'll do it again, but even at $161, this is still a good deal. The cheapest online I could find one is $180 + free shipping.

This is Snap On's new style 1HP grinder with a slightly different paint job. The internals are the same as the $300 SO. It is sold under Sioux's Industrial product line, seperate from their imported tools.

Just figured I'd bump this because mine just showed up on the UPS truck. Brand new in the box with all the original paperwork. I don't think you can find a better deal on a grinder like this anywhere.

I couldn't tell you COO, and quite frankly, I don't care in this case. The overall fit, finish, and quality is as you'd expect from SO. All I cared about was power, price, and the ability to get a rebuild kit off the Snappy truck when he comes around.

From fluid mechanics: Power = Pressure * (change in volume)

Making power takes air to run. Volume use doesn't bother me too much. I have a 20 cfm in the shop and a 70 cfm on the service truck. The only tool that I have issues with in the shop is my Atlas Copco 1.7HP angle grinder that eats 60+ cfm under load.

I have the little sioux right angle but this would be overkill for me...i just might bite the bullet and get it to complement my little one.
