A lot of medical equipment and things like stainless or copper tools come from China and the middle east.

When the OP posted about the medical ratchet, it reminded me of this citation Tool Guyd did. I was fascinated by what PBswiss came up with to install, remove, and extract broken bone screws. Just imagine what something like that for mechanics use would cost?
