Sterilizable? That seems like a medical or astronaut wrench... but I would hate to see a doctor wrenching on my knee or ankle with one of those.

Yep, we had three when I worked for a beverage facility in the batching area. Some clamps for the starblend weren't quick release

You can find lots of stuff like this on eBay which always sort of worried me.

I'd hate to find out my orthopedic surgeon was buying his tools on PayPal credit:shocking:

You can find lots of stuff like this on eBay which always sort of worried me.

A lot of medical equipment and things like stainless or copper tools come from China and the middle east.

I just read through the surgical techniques docs for those tools. Pretty fascinating stuff.

When the OP posted about the medical ratchet, it reminded me of this citation Tool Guyd did. I was fascinated by what PBswiss came up with to install, remove, and extract broken bone screws. Just imagine what something like that for mechanics use would cost?:shocking:
