Site access/loading from a mobile device... slow to not happening... anyone else?

Anyone else having problems going to this site from a mobile device?

Recently, the home page would not load at all, and I received a timeout error message. Didn't matter what browser I used on my Android device (Dolphin, Firefox, Chrome or Samsung).

Lately, I can get to the home page > forums tab > (pick one) > (choose topic) and then the selected thread never loads up. Same result, no matter which browser I choose on Android.

This is the only site where I am experiencing these issues. I suppose it is one way to stay away

Sounds like an App issue.

Using tapatalk? I had the same issue and deleted tapatalk and re downloaded it

To HOTFR8-

If I had the same experience with most of the other sites I use on my phone, I would agree.

However, the problem is only with this site and it happens on all 4 browsers that I have on my phone.

VW Vortex will load in Dolphin, but I can't go anywhere after that. The site works fine using Firefox.

ICanHazCheezeburger is fun but riddled with popup ads, but it loads OK and it is usable.

Those are the only 2 sites that I visit where I know something will not work right.

There was a solid week recently where GJ would not load at all on any browser on my phone- even with 4G LTE signal. Lately, I reach a point where the pages stop loading, as described in the OP.

No Tapatalk.

I have yet to find an "enhanced mobile view" that I like more than how the site looks on my PC, and those enhanced mobile views always take longer to load up for me.

Same thing going on here with me. Only GJ does this. Sometimes the site is useless to me. My browser status bar jumps across about 3/4", then it all locks up until the server times out. Frustrating as hell.

Yup, that's what I am getting. Oddly enough, the site isn't riddled with ads, so no blame there.

Sometimes, I get a security warning or the lock symbol after https is either yellow or red. Maybe the problem is there- site security issues.

Not something I can help any further with as I do not use the App to access the GJ.

Nor do I. No app.

Its not an APP issue as i have the same problem and dont use any apps other than a mobile web browser to access the GJ. Doesnt matter which browser either. So its definitely on your end(server)...

I think Ryan has had and still having major server issues along with Hackers and Spammers on all his forums. The HAMB has been hit with Denial of Service and had pages full of Spam and then that reflect back here as to how this site is looked after as well. All I can say is be patient.
