Alright....when I come onto the site I like the go through all the topics that have had recent posts which show up in bold so later I know that I have already read them.....but sometimes when I leave the site for a short time and come back everything is back the way it was....posts are back in bold like I never read them....which I have....and nothing new has happened...no new responses nothing so I have to open up each thread again and close it out so the boldness will go away sometimes it can get time consuming....again this only happens when there is NO activity on the site.....of course the threads go bold when there is a new post on that specific thread

Is this just something that happens and its a no big deal glitch or what??

I think there is a time period that you have to be on the site before the unread posts are marked as read. I usually just click on the "Mark Forums Read" button at the bottom right when I am done and that removes them all.

Yup, I notice the same thing too, but I usually just look at the "latest poster" colum.

That happens because of the change in cookies.

Something must be up with the way the cookies are updated. I go to other sites and when I switch computers, the read/unread posts follow me.

This forum software is British, so blame them.

I'll check into this though. Thanks for bringing it to my attention guys.
