Hey guys. Wondering if anybody could show or describe a size comparison between https://www.milwaukeetool.com/power-tools/cordless/2654-22 and http://www.ingersollrandproducts.com/am-en/products/tools/Iqv-cordless-tools/iqv20/w5132 . I own both battery systems right now but currently own the milwaukee impact. I wish it had a bit more power, which the IR supposedly does. Taking off calipers or any other high torque bolts where people like to hammer them on but a 1/2" cordless is too large to get into or too heavy to really be of use is where these 3/8 smaller guns come in handy. Sacraficing size for power is dependent on how much larger i guess.

You might look into a pneumatic for brake anchor bolts vs 3/8 cordless I usually break free with 1/2 ratchet atleast and thread lock can be a nightmare I like the ir2125 1/2 in a 3/8 body pneumatic

But you original question is the Milwaukee looks to be better suited since the tapered head over the ir which is fat flat head but specs are stronger of ir vs fuel thou

You have both battery platforms, but the angled cone design of the IR will help you get in tighter places and has more power, so it seems pretty obvious to me.

I was more so wondering front to back length. I can't tell in videos if it's larger or compact.

From what I could find
The IR 8.55 inches x 6.54 inches x 3.15 inches
The Milwaukee 6" long.
So M18 is 1/2" longer, but that angled nose cone of the IR makes a world of difference. You can fit it in a lot more places.

I may just have to sell my milwaukee and get the ir. I like how the Milwaukee can limit torque electronically so you don't have to go slow with the trigger, but the ir makes me think I'd have better use out of it
