Size difference between classic 78 and krl722

Planning on trading in my classic 78 and im looking at getting a master series. The krl722 is affordable and looks better but is there a size difference between them?

Minus slight drawer arrangement difference, they are pretty much identical size wise. To make any meaningful gain, I'd look to a krl 1022. A 7022 will add depth, but not enough overall gain in my book to make it worth it.

The krl looks like it sits taller or is it just me?

Might by a fraction, but both ride on 6" casters. The only real difference between the two is instead of one 4" deep narrow drawer on the 78, the 722 has two 2" drawers. Both have the same depth top drawers as well as the bottom.

I thought the KRL's are deeper front to back than the KRA's. I could be wrong though.

Classic 78 are 24" deep just like a krl 722. I'm pretty sure the two boxes actually use the same drawers.

I have a KRA and don't really think that I would be happier with a KRL, especially that they are about the same size. My KRA has only the one wide drawer where I wished it had two wide drawers.
