Sizing a Pin C Spanner (for Hein-Werner jack tank nut)

I’m going to be opening the tank nut (gland nut? Is the main nut on top of the hydraulic cylinder) on a couple of vintage Hein-Werner floor jacks.

How do I measure the correct size of C spanner that I need?

Anybody knows the correct C Spanner size needed to remove the tank nut on a Hein-Werner OS/O’Boy floor jack?
