When I posted this there were 5 left... within a couple hours, they disappeared. Glad some of y'all got in on this. Mine arrived a couple days ago and look great.

I had always thought these would be kind of superfluous (since you can easily combine a regular universal and socket), but I just got done with a thermostat job on my Saturn... which was made easier by removing the AC compressor... which was made much easier by the use of these universals. I see the advantage now, they're much shorter than a universal + socket, and thus you can get into tighter spaces with them.

I guess I'm in the market for the SAE set now, too. :lol_hitti

(oh, and some 1/4 locking extensions)

Thanks! Been looking for a set of 1/4" flex sockets, Craftsman had a 17 piece set for $99, but its not on their site anymore. I was ready to get an import set, but to find sk for this price is awesome! Always happier to put USA made tools in the box.

You don't happen to remember what flex socket sizes you used?
If worse came to worse one could always get what they need at Sears for a bit under $7/socket.... prolly cheaper on the internets.

artic-tools still has the
SK Tools 1335 10 Piece 6 Point Flex Chrome Socket Set 1/4" Drive for $49 but
they've added $10 shipping.... go figure!!!

I haven't a clue what he's selling - can't find the PN he supplied on sears.com.
Pics look like deep sockets not shallow flex sockets.
Went and looked at his other items and some are sure high in bids and $$$ being so far away from closing.... couple that w/the fact he has a rating/stars of '0' all I can say is BUYER BEWARE!!!

Thanks for the post. Even with the $10 shipping it's a good deal. Just bought myself a set.

His description and title say flex sockets. They are not. He is probably camarotoolguy.
