When did they cease double-grooving the female end exterior?

The eBay seller's picture was probably their upload and it shows non-grooved ends. Whether that's indicative of pre or post ideal, I don't know. But I thought someone else might know.

well I tool a chance. I already had the same set on order from Amazon I will let you guys know how What I get. a 40 dollar savings is worth it.

I got my set today. Looked top notch to me. The tray was cracked in several places. I emailed SK to see if they will send me a new tray. I dont know what there response will be.

Note: The tray is light plastic and cracks easily and has cracks around the edges

I bought mine from tooltopia a while back and had the same problem with the tray. I contacted tooltopia and they couldn't do anything for me (as I expected) but I called SK customer service and they got me one in less than week.
