Items are selling on eBay...and I am buying them. I would check there for values on sold auctions.

I usually try and buy used at 50% of the current new price. A few of those may bring more if someone needs something for their collection. Complete sets in the metal boxes always bring lots of bid on eBay.

OK, I'll throw out a range of $50-75 since everything looks beat up and rusty.

How does that compare with what he wants?

Plenty of rust and peel and those pieces aren't really that rare.

I'd say on ebay all of that might get him $100 or maybe $150 on a good day. Very collectible but also very poor condition, well used, and very rusty. I have some of the same stuff as you are showing here. Send me a PM too and I might make you an offer for it if interested. Brand new old stock full sets of SK on ebay typically will bring about 1/2-2/3rds of what a new set would bring bought today. Poor condition or rusty will seriously lower that value from there. But the new set will have some design improvements to the sockets or wrenches which are useful things to have for a pro. - Paul
