So me being a tool addict hehehehehe

I stumbled on a for sale ad for some older SK/ SK WAYNE stuff. I couldn't turn down the price of what they were asking so i bought it all. It came in an older SK Tool Box. Although it is damaged. All the sockets came in the original SK metal cases.

Most of it is all Standard. With the exception of the Metric wrench set.

Im looking to get some realistic pricing for these. I don't need all of this way too many tools for me. I did notice a few of the sockets are 8 point.

Either way i will list the photos below when i pull them off of my phone.

Just look on Ebay. The more complete the set, the better the price obviously. Complete sets will sell around 1/2 of new unless they're 1/2" drive (for some reason those sell even cheaper it seems). If it's miscellaneous sockets that aren't something special like the rounded or knurled then you're probably not going to get much for them. SK is still USA made and still warranties all there tools. So, unlike craftsman, you don't have people looking for USA replacements, and, unlike Snap-on, people can contact SK for warranty replacements without jumping through hoops. From what i've seen, the boxes don't make much of a difference to most, unless collectors.

You probably overpaid for it all. I'll help you out though and give you what you got in it.

Joking aside, nice set you found.

I would say one lump lot you are around $150 mark. If you separate it out I would say around $200.

Looking for the following Plomb Pebbles Wrenches 3055, 3060, 3061, 3062, 3070

I agree at around 150.00 to 200 for all of it. The big issue is condition, they all look heavily used. The sockets with the holes in them, I don't think they came in that box, the box seems newer.

The good news for most but bad news for you is that SK ratchets go for cheap........which I think is great because you can find them for a few bucks at flea markets/ebay and easily clean/lube or rebuild them for cheap/free and have a high-end ratchet but that hurts resale prices considerably.

SK is great to us as DIY'er and garage sale/flea market goers because it can be bought so cheaply and is american made, but the resale market on it is not very good at all. Especially on loose non-set pieces.

realistic.....you mean ebay dreamer, or well used tools??.....IMO not worth that much more than comparable kobalt equivalents....but that is me.....and yes i know they are old school sk, USA made, etc....just my opinion..

That also being said, I would be interested in the SK breaker bars, and 1/2" extensions.

unfortunately they aren't worth that much even if the tools were in better condition. what huts the re-sale value is how plentiful the old and new stock is on ebay. New SK products are cheap everywhere, not to long ago i purchased a LP90 new for 50dlls so you see its cheap, the updated round heads are about the same, with the old tooth round head being sold for around 30dlls new.
