SK Birthday Coupon Restrictions?

Just went to use my 25% off birthday coupon and for a $151.42 order, the discount is only $12.97 (8.6% off). The coupon email lists no restrictions to its use. What gives?

It worked on a multiple-item order last year, and adding/removing individual items from my cart does not suggest it's restricted to a single item either.

I emailed SK since it's the weekend and will call next week if they don't reply; was just wondering if anyone here had encountered the same issue. Their website isn't the greatest.

So I must be losing my mind. I thought the 25% off code worked on a multi-item order last year, but in looking at my order history, it was only applied to the most expensive item. Customer service today confirmed this, adding that it's a one-time use code during the birthday month.

What's weird is the email with the coupon code has ZERO fine print / restrictions on it. I usually hate fine print, but this is an example where it would be helpful to have a bit to clarify the coupon parameters.

So I ordered less stuff, but still enough stuff.
