I'm guessing it's probably already been mentioned, but aren't they EXACTLY the same as the old Craftsman Professional?

Thought Western Forge made them for Craftsman, I guess they kept the same molds for SK? (I don't remember them having these years ago?... maybe not...)

Yes/No. They are exactly the same they can be found offered as Armstrong as well.

Ideal industries owns: SK, Pratt-read, Western Forge, A&L Handles, etc.

A&L handles is a division of Pratt-read which is solely a screwdriver manufacturer. I can't see Western Forge and Pratt Read both making screwdrivers as they are both private labelers. I tend to think Pratt Read has been making screwdrivers for anyone and everyone for a long time as they are a screwdriver manufacturer while Western Forge makes pliers, prybars, punches etc.

No. The SK version is green and black whereas, the craftsmans were red and black.

If you want blue and black, grab an armstron set while you can.

:see:

Upon making the move to Colorado, Western Forge expanded production to include screwdrivers, punches, chisels, adjustable wrenches and pliers and, in 1976, it shipped its 100 millionth screwdriver.

Time line for a few of Ideal's acquisitions.

In 2009, Western Forge became a wholly-owned subsidiary of IDEAL INDUSTRIES

SK was acquired by IDEAL INDUSTRIES in 2010.

Pratt-Read and A&L Handles were acquired by IDEAL INDUSTRIES in 2010.

So what's what and who's who? Pratt Read only make a select few and Western Forge make a select few?

I believe the WF on the Craftsman and Army denotes the Western Forge manufacturer. I'm sure plenty here already know/assume this.

However, buy an adjustable wrench or pliers from McMaster-Carr and you will see a Western Forge BRANDED product. Order some acetate handled screwdrivers and you will see a Pratt Read branded product. Granted Pratt Read branded products are not too hard to find but Western Forge branded tools are kind of uncommon.

It comes as no surprise that Ideal would mix and match some of their holdings and/or copy a previously sold (and popular) product and brand it under SK. I like the Craftsmans for nostalgia but I would not hesitate to buy the new SKs.
