SK Extension

I have been looking for complete sets of extensions and the SK sets look like a very good deal. Can anybody give me any imput about their quality? Im also curious what country they are made in, I belive I read some of their stuff is going offshore.

The SK extension are great. I have the 1/4" and 3/8" sets. Very well made and the chrome has held up great. Ebay seems to be the place to find the SK deals. Also have the full Craftsman set. Has held up very well and I think the full extension and adapter set is the way to go on the Craftsman set because you get everything at a lower price.

Thanks guys, for the price i was afraid they might be offshore. I have craftsman u joints and assorted extensions but I want a full set of extensions regurlar and swivel in 1/4 through 1/2.

I too have some SK 1/4" and 3/8" extensions from my dad that have the grip checkering that still look new.

As others have said, the extensions are good. As for the offshore, some of the spline ratcheting wrenches were made in Taiwan.

I like SK extenstions, craftsman are ok, but they do not have knurling.. on them. My Snap On, SK do, also Gearwrench are good..

knurling would matter more to me on a socket rather than an extension though it would be great if everything had it. Still cant beat the craftsman set for the price. I think the 3/8" SK set alone is like $35-$40.

The Craftsman set above is USA. That's the same one I bought.

I have Sk , Snap on and Craftsman extensions. The Sk are a little better than Craftsman but not something I would use for every day. The universals are sloppy.

I haven't used the sk universals, but the extensions definitely hold their own. I prefer them over craftsman just for the knurling. You rarely need the knurling, but when you need it and everything's in oil, it comes in handy.

I have sk and craftsman. The sk extensions I have are only there because craftsman either doesnt make them or the sk design is better. I have a 36" 3/8 and a set of 3/8 locking extensions that are sk. The craftsman quick release extensions are junk IMHO.

SK makes a great extension. The locking versions are better than Snap-On (Yes I said better)

i bought a large set of 1/4 sk extensions on a few the chrome was pretty knarly at the bottom. but they still work excellent.
