Cynical Fed is now the undisputed S·K hater champ. Our new 90-tooth tear drop ratchet is now in production, for starters. We're on schedule to release a number of new products this year. No, we're not a billion-dollar tool company that has the resources to make every product under the sun, but were growing and committed to producing innovative, top quality 100% USA-made products.
Please just don't say when it will be available, if you pin it down and miss than it is all we hear about on here and makes fedwrench and, less vocally, myself cynical. Surprise us with an anouncement and full availability through hje and your other distributors. Almost everyone here wants you to succeed, your bigger problem is people who think chrome inside a socket is a requirement because they have seen it done on the cheap overseas sets in wal mart and aren't aware that the reason they do it is to hold all the pot metal together.
Your advise is noted and taken. I think our strategy going forward will be clearer to tool experts, fans and professionals over the next few months.
Will buy!Our new 90-tooth tear drop ratchet is now in production

I second that! The very helpful Lauren in internal sales had me anticipating 1 Jan even more that normal. She has given me a other date, but I'm keeping quiet...
Best wishes to all at SK!

I still have SK tools from my youth and buy many of your new products whenever they're available. There's just such a long period between new releases
As for your new 90 tooth ratchet, will it have a smooth handle like the prototype on display at SEMA or will it have a knurled handle traditionally found on SK ratchets? When you say it's in production, are we talking about the standard length 3/8 drive ratchet only or will other drive sizes & variations like long handle or flex head be available soon too?

Bring the roto back! And make a 1/4 drive version of it!!!
X frames will never be reversible. Look at how it's built, use your head.
(it's also why I'll never buy them, and why I sold my non-reversibles, backing a bolt into a corner with a non-reversible ratcheting wrench is really the most dissatisfying thing on the planet)
Well, if you "use your head" when you're using a non-reversible ratchet wrench you shouldn't ever get it stuck.
I've never done that and I like the zero-offset of non-reversible ratcheting wrenches. I don't dislike reversible ones and I have owned them, but the hate some people have for non-reversible ones doesn't make sense to me.
