Please just don't say when it will be available, if you pin it down and miss than it is all we hear about on here and makes fedwrench and, less vocally, myself cynical. Surprise us with an anouncement and full availability through hje and your other distributors. Almost everyone here wants you to succeed, your bigger problem is people who think chrome inside a socket is a requirement because they have seen it done on the cheap overseas sets in wal mart and aren't aware that the reason they do it is to hold all the pot metal together.

I check the SK website every now and then, hoping for a refresh.

When those new products drop, where can we expect to hear about it? Will it be on the website? I miss a lot of stuff that gets buried on social media.

Hardly an SK hater. I still have SK tools from my youth and buy many of your new products whenever they're available. There's just such a long period between new releases As for your new 90 tooth ratchet, will it have a smooth handle like the prototype on display at SEMA or will it have a knurled handle traditionally found on SK ratchets? When you say it's in production, are we talking about the standard length 3/8 drive ratchet only or will other drive sizes & variations like long handle or flex head be available soon too?

I don't expect you to make everything under the sun but, nor would I want you to. It would be nice to see some other X frame versions come out like an extra long zero offset boxed end model, or a flex head. Perhaps you guys could come out with some green square handled hooks, picks, trim tools, and hose picks.

I want the ideal owned SK to succeed and flourish. However, that doesn't mean you get a free ride.

I am newer to the SK brand(about 1 Year since my first SK purchase), but so far I have been pleased with the quality to price ratio. I only keep my old Craftsman deep sockets around for the rare occasion that I need a fully broached socket. My biggestgripe with SK is the lack of local distributors, but I hope that will continue to be improved. I want to start seeing SK at local retailers so I can go in and browse when I have some time to kill; like I used to do in Sears when Craftsman was still good.

If you judge the market based on this forum, there is a lot of market out there for affordable, USA made, quality tools, and it seems like a lot of tool companies have abandoned peoe in that market. *Glares at Craftsman*. I hope the the Ideal SK is going to help fill in some of the gaps going forward, but at the same time I'm not going to fork over money just for the USA stamp. I expect US made quality if I'm paying a US made price.

I love my sk sockets, swivel sockets, swivel impact sockets...too many other sk stuff but find the quality as good as other truck brands. Wish u did make the x frames reversible as well as spline drive

Do you x-ray each bolt to measure how long it is before you remove them? I don't have that technology, but maybe you do.

Many engines or other assemblies are assembled outside engine bays and have bolts that are too long to be removed in place.

I was thinking the same thing. Not that hard to tell if there is room or not.

I've nearly gotten a wrench stuck the same way, its made me wish for a nice set of reversible wrenches as well.
I'd also like to see a roto style ratchet return and would buy a run of them.
