I just had to chime in that I recently sent them an email praising thier product and how I was glad they kept the line in the good ol' US of A and didn't ask for anything. Today I came home to a package waiting on me from them containing an awesome hat and decal!!! How great is that?!

When I graduated High School my Dad worked at a parts store that sold SK tools. He bought me a SK 3/8 drive socket set (SAE), a set of wrenches, and some other stuff. Skip ahead several years and I'm under a suburban pulling the differential cover off with cheap metric sockets. After breaking the second socket I told myself that I was going to throw the trash away and get me some SK's. A week later I found an SK store in Oklahoma City. It's a 30 minute drive and I don't ever buy much at once but I keep on buying. ...and there's always EvilBay.

Yes I'm a DIY kind of guy and don't use my tools daily but I can count on my SK wrenches and sockets to do the job. ...and 35 years after Dad gave me that first set I still have them and still use them. The only ones I broke was when I was abusing them. Like using them as punches to remove U Joints on my truck.

I have large selection of SO, SK, TOPTUL, MATCO, and CMAN, and I love the SK tools. Have full set of their green handle screwdrivers, and they have been going strong for 11+ years. The Philips are especially nice, with sharp points that grip the fasteners better than any other Phillips I have tried. My bull ratchet has been the 1/2 " long handle, which has taken an incredible amount of use, still going strong- though I just purchased a dual 80 SO long handle which will surely get tested also. 10 years ago, I purchased a SK 25 piece metric 1/4 " drive socket set with ratchet and extensions on fleabay, (21$),and that set has served my 1/4 needs. The ratchet that came with the set is actually a fine tooth, and longer handle than normal 1/4 inch "smallies", and has served as our go to 1/4 inch drive , even though I have several other 1/4 inchers from everyone else . I have 3/8 and 1/2 inch Torque wrenches from them, and they have worked perfectly for years, though I do keep them in their tubes to preserve the calibration as best I can. Also have full metric wrench set, and they are nice, but I like the extra length of the MATCO longs I have. As others have mentioned, not a lot of (none?) places to buy or do warranty returns should it be needed. - I have cracked a couple of small sockets. over the years, but that is it. I have no allegiance to any brand, they have to prove their worth. SK has done that in my experiences (mostly automotive work) .

I haven't been by in a couple of years but there used to be a dealer on Agnew street in Oklahoma City down by the stockyards.

They warrantied the ONLY SK ratchet that I ever had a problem with and it came direct out of the box set I got off EvilBay. No questions asked, just fixed it and gave it back.
