I started to use that, but noticed the "best offer" feature automatically excludes shipping. I wasn't going to argue with $42.38 shipped.

I believe the wording of "excludes shipping" for offers is more directed at traditional listings that have shipping as an extra charge, but still shows for "free shipping" listings.

I offered $35 earlier today, I'll post up if it's accepted.

Thanks for the heads up, seems like a steal.

Pardon my ignorance, but how good of a deal is this? I know the value of SK and have been for some time looking for some flare nut wrenches, would this deal be a great way to compliment my tools w/something I will need in the future?

sorry for the slight "derail" by asking this question.

They declined my $30 offer. I wanted to pick some up for my home box but I'm kind of glad that they declined, my co-worker showed me some of his that he has as back ups and they are way too bulky and thats not good when working in tight areas......

Yes it's a great deal on a set of flare nut wrenches. Just the three piece set (SAE only, SK383) is more than that at tooltopia. I wish it had more sizes, but for the price I'll fill in as I need them.

These guys are not the best with customer service, they floated their mistake on my credit card for over a month while I waited for them to process my refund after my jumping through multiple hoops. In retrospect I should have just called the credit card company and let them hash it out. In think this is one of many names they do business under.....

Are these straight or offset/angled? I don't see them on sk's site and am not knowledgable enough to decode the part number.

Thanks for the help.

S-K as been bought and sold quite a few times in the past 20 years. It is now under a different owner. They were going bankrupt a few years ago.
There are many reasons the wrenches are much cheeper.
1. They could be ones made when they were part of Framcom.
2. They could be old stock someone has and they want to move the inventory so they can re-invest in a product that moves faster. Or
3. They could be form a close out buy. Many stores go under or sell off items. They could be from a buyer of close outs. I have purschased many pallets full of goods including new tools of many brands. If someone has a pallet full of these it makes sense.

I have sold used S-K flarenut wrenches for more than these are going for.
Why ask why? The are S-K great qulity at a fantastic price. You all get a good thing going and then get greedy and wonder why thier offer price goes up. They don't need to reed the GJ. They just know whats up by the offers they are getting. Remember what is not said is louder than what is said.

If you need them buy them. I have them in SAE and Metric and I would not sell them used for $35. You hit the jack pot. Whats the fuss. You all are peenny wise but dollare foolish. When a good deal comes along take it if you need it. If you don't need it than it is money wasted. I am goning to try and get 4 sets for my son's and grandsons for Christmas.

These are the straight ones. Part numbers for the individual wrenches are same as current numbers, but this set does not appear to exist on their site anymore.

Thank you for the info. I have a larger set of cman pro USA made in straight. No need to duplicate functions at this point.

So yeah do these guys also go by ntxtools? I was emailed an invoice from ntxtools but it's an attachment I don't necessarily want to open.

Yes. I got the same thing from them.

My wrenches arrived yesterday and they are quite nice. Brand new in plastic and they came with a green wrench holder.

Yeah it's ntxtools, and unfortunately, it looks like they're sending junk email too. Looks like maybe twice a week, but still annoying since I didn't specifically request it. I put in an "opt out" request. Hopefully that'll be the end of it.

That was one of the complaints in their ebay negative feeback too. They responded saying you can opt out of the "newsletter." I'm not sure this should be unexpected tho in today's information climate; I purchased something from ToolPrice about 10 years ago on Ebay and they still send me junk mail, but it goes to my spam folder so I've never done anything about it.

They are selling it for $33.33 on their website. I always check the vendors website first before buying. Most of the time the ebay price is higher.

Though, you'll have to buy $250 worth of stuff to get free shipping.

I received mine and they look as advertised, so positive experience. They took my $39 bid despite others before me saying they had been rejected at that.
