Sk G-PRO Design... Does it really work?

Does anybody know if the Sk G-PRO ratcheting wrenches really work? I mean they claim that they will work on 9 different types of fastners and rounded out bolts, but I am sort of skeptical. How well do the grip on normal hex bolts without rounding them off? My shop teacher is considering ordering Either these or a set of snap ons.

How well do they "hold-on" to the faster? What I orginally meant was, Are they more likely to round off a bolt than a standard 12pt design? I should have made myself more clear.

No they hold on extremely well....they are slightly concave in the tooth so it holds very well.....again they do what they advertise......it helps if by chance you have something like a square drive bit....and finding something to tighten that is hard especially if it require some real torque.....they will not round down bolts

Yeah, but they also cost more...

The craftsmans are still pretty good, but they cant build them to be snap on quality for price reasons

thats true, but the craftsmans are great for the average user. Still an excellent value if your not a pro mechanic and dont need snap on

haha maybe... I have a few other things on my list... Mainly the SK 44pc 1/4 set... I have like 3 metric 1/4 sockets lol and this set is pretty extensive, who cares if i wind up with duplicates though. Ive also put on that list a Viking air cut off tool.

Go for the sockets....they are prettier to look at...I am not much of a power tool guy....I love hand tools...the sockets and wrenches and ratchets....all that chrome and polish is fun

Hahahaha well I like her alot because shes got her head screwed on straight... she knows what she wants to do in life which is cool because most girls I know couldnt name half of the 50 states.

And as for friends who happen to be girls... got them too, but you REALLY need to be careful when you also havea girlfriend... 'nuff said lol
