I have decided to upgrade my craftsman hand tools from the late 90's with SK tools. Anyone know of a brick and mortar store in Michigan that would allow me to see them in person? Thanks in advance

Try Here;

Not to far from you, not really a showroom but if they have it in stock you can look at it before you buy it........excellent selection and prices on automotive tools.
If they don't have it they can order it in as well.
Beware they do not have a sign on the outside of the building, and I think they close by 5:00 pm, its a small family business.

I have been buying from them for years........

Kitt's is a cross between Harbor Freight and an old hardware store, every time I go there I find something I cant live without! I don't remember them having a large selection of S&K but I wasn't looking for them either.

Landmesser is a warehouse with a sales counter, they do not have a showroom, but they do stock a lot of what is in their catalog and with their prices you would be hard pressed without a lot of searching to beat the prices.......I bought a bunch of 1/2 drive large hex bit sockets from them and was surprised to find out they were made in the USA, don't remember if they were Proto or S&K.

One other place to check out is Performance tool in Pontiac if you didn't know about them, their prices are competitive and they have a little of everything from hobby to tools for the trades.

Performance Tools, Telegraph and M59. Just south of the intersection a few blocks. They were better in the old days but they still carry them.

Thanks guys! SK's website is really limited, only referencing Grainger outlets and Production Tool. Grainger will not sell to the general public, and PTS is usually priced considerably higher than other retailers. I just figured there had to be more stores actually carrying them than what SK lists on their site. Thanks again!

Kitts has a limited supply all pre ideal. He will not warranty or refund any.

My brother bought a 1/2 drive set there and it had 2 of the same size sockets in the set and he would not exchange the set. They told him to go to MSc in Livonia.

I know most of the old school parts stored carry s&k, there's a big auto value on 59 that used to have it but haven't been there in yrs. I would call around to auto value /carquest type stored and ask.

We're working on it. A searchable html catalog is being built as we speak.
